TASTE FAIRTRADE WINES AT NATIVE TONGUE
The Epsom and Ewell Fairtrade Forum and The Co-Op are working together to present an evening of Fairtrade wine-tasting and entertainment in Native Tongue, the new Epsom bar/music venue.
On the 23rd September, from between 7.15pm and 9.15pm, at Native Tongue (93 High Street, Epsom) there’ll be an opportunity to taste several Fairtrade wines with tips and guidance from tasting expert, Brian Davis. There’ll also be information on getting involved with Fairtrade and the campaign to make Epsom a Fairtrade town.
There’ll be live jazz & snacks provided throughout the evening and the bar will stay open during and after the tasting – Native Tongue has bands and live music most nights. “We’re very happy to support Fairtrade in Epsom, and are hoping to stock Fairtrade wines soon,” said Tristan Maguire from Native Tongue.
Said Jonathan Lees of the Epsom and Ewell Fairtrade Forum, “There are some great Fairtrade wines available, and we’re excited to be able to give Epsom the chance to try them out for free, to learn more about Fairtrade, and to enjoy a great evening."
